WHEN PIRATES RULED THE AIR WAVES

Three Valleys Radio have been lucky enough to acquire a unique collection of literally hundreds of hours of recordings from the offshore era of British Radio.

Thanks to a chance meeting with Ray Robinson, an offshore expert, Robbo has given us exclusive access to his huge library including Radio Caroline, Radio London, Swinging Radio England, Radio Scotland, Britain Radio, Radio Atlantis, Radio Atlanta, Radio City, Radio Sutch, Radio 270, Radio 390, Laser 558, Radio North Sea International, Radio Invicta and King Radio.
Generally, the sound quality is excellent considering some recordings are nearly 60 years old and these recordings give you the opportunity to take yourself back to the swinging sixties.

On March 28th 2024 we marked the 60th anniversary of the Offshore era with over 10 hours of programming to commemorate this significant anniversary.
Three Valleys Radio intend to celebrate those golden years during 2024 so make sure you drift back to the music revolution that changed the whole face of independent radio.
